In Likha at Haraya, which translates to “to create and to imagine”, a workshop conducted by MCAD and Museo Pambata last 28 September, participating teachers learned how to make use of the museum as a learning resource. It began with a dialogue on alternative forms of learning and how teachers can take advantage of the museum’s exhibitions and public programs to complement their curriculum. It probed into issues that pose as barrier to schools in accessing museums. Finally, the talk also enlightened teachers on the relevance of museum tours in inspiring curiosity among students.
