Online Event | General Public
The blurred boundaries and possibilities of contemporary art have given creatives and artists new avenues to express their creativity. Many artists cross over to non-traditional creative disciplines, and collaborate more with individuals and communities. At the same time, artists are getting more innovative in attracting the public’s attention to their art with the multitude of platforms that are readily available. Today’s creatives live in an unprecedented time where the key to success is awareness, openness and innovation.
In the last segment of MCAD’s Observation Series, artist Rico Entico will contextualize and assess his work as these involve public engagement and interdisciplinary collaborations. Sharing projects and endeavors with his various affiliations, Entico will shed light on approaches in creating art that involves stakeholders and audiences.

Entico is an independent filmmaker, performer and videographer based in the Philippines. He is a co-curator and co-founder of Lost Frames screenings and talks, co-founder of BGAS (Bangkal Gourmet Acid Shake), and a member of Walang Kikilos collective, among others.
