UPDATE: Due to scheduling conflicts, the September 8 screening of Raise the Red Lantern is moved to the MCAD Multimdeia Room.
The home is a fraught site. While individuals’ interest coincide with that of their families, mutual satisfaction is assured. In instances when they are in opposition, a violation occurs, resulting in tragedy. The films look at sources of tension in the home and how this is addressed as metaphors and accounts of life under a dictatorship. The screenings will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays of September, inside the 12/F SDA Cinema, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde SDA Campus.
