This month’s film screenings tackle themes of liberation and advancement, and how they affect one’s personal principles. These four documentaries discuss how imagery and propaganda shape the truth of the present through personal and collective accounts from the past. This film screening program is curated by Elmo Gonzaga, a Media Studies lecturer at the National University of Singapore and an incoming Assistant Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Due to MCAD being closed for preparations for the next exhibition, this month’s screenings are to be held in special screening rooms. Please be guided by the poster below for more information about the venues and times for the film screenings. For inquiries, please email mcad@benilde.edu.ph or send us a message through this website.
