Maria Taniguchi is one of the six shortlisted artists of the 2015 HUGO BOSS ASIA ART Award for Emerging Asian Artists. The HUGO BOSS ASIA ART Award, introduced in 2013 and conceived and curated by the Rockbund Art Museum, aims to honour young emerging contemporary artists in Asia. As one of the finalists, Maria Taniguchi has been at the forefront of contemporary art exploration both in the Philippines and internationally.
